Pompa Positive Displacement
Pompa Positive Displacement menggerakkan cairan dengan menarik dan memasukkan jumlah yang tetap ke dalam pipa pembuangannya. Pompa jenis ini memanfaatkan rongganya yang meluas di sisi hisap untuk menangkap cairan dan rongganya yang lebih sempit di sisi pengeluaran untuk mengalirkan cairan keluar. Volume cairan yang terlibat dalam setiap siklus operasi adalah konstan.
