Positive Displacement Pumps

Positive Displacement pump moves fluid by trapping and forcing a  fixed amount of it into its discharge pipe. This kind of pump make use of its expanding cavity in the suction side to capture liquid and its decreasing cavity in the discharge side to make the liquid flows out. The liquid volume involved in each cycle of operation is constant.
